Shelly Jerman, a passionate and resourceful woman in her 50s, started the company out of a personal need. After purchasing a piece of land she dreamed of transforming into a calming, welcoming retreat, Shelly had a vision—gorgeous, bubbling fountains nestled among the gardens and trees.

Rather than give up, Shelly saw an opportunity. If she was struggling to find a simple, affordable way to create a fountain oasis, surely others were too. That spark of inspiration led to the creation of Friendly Fountains, LLC—a business dedicated to offering easy-to-install, all-in-one fountain packages that take the guesswork out of creating a water feature. Shelly’s goal was simple: make it easier and more affordable for everyday landowners, Airbnb hosts, vacation home managers, and rural dreamers to increase the beauty and value of their properties.

Shelly carefully curated each fountain, handpicking only the most reliable and cost-effective components. What started as a humble side project soon grew into a full-time mission. The fountains she curate not only come with everything needed for a gorgeous fountain, but also with clear instructions, support, and a genuine human touch that big box stores lack. Word spread quickly, and Shelly’s reputation as the “Fountain Lady” caught fire across online communities, homesteading forums, and short-term rental groups. The dedication and authenticity resonated with customers, many of whom credit fountains with transforming their properties and even helping boost rental income.
